What to do in Prague tonight? Experience modern black light theatre If you are looking for evening entertainment in Prague, HILT black light theatre is a perfect choice. Our show is modern, universal, and fun. There is no language barrier, so visitors from all over the world can enjoy it.
What is the show about? Our summer show is called "Images of Love". It is 70 minutes long with no break. The director, Theodor Hoidekr, created a modern version of classic black light theatre. You will hear original music, including the Spanish dance song "Entra a la Oscuridad". Our motto is: "You must enter the dark to see the light."
What is new this summer? We have brand new UV projections with a special 3D effect. These projections visually mix with the real actors in UV costumes. It creates a magical illusion that will completely confuse your eyes!
Where to find us? A historical 15th-century underground We are located at Řetězová 7, Prague 1 - Old Town, right next to Cafe Montmartre. Our theatre is hidden in a historical 15th-century underground space where King George of Poděbrady once lived. It is a small, intimate venue with a maximum of 50 seats. This means the actors are very close to you, making the show interactive and face-to-face.
Who can visit? Family friendly activity The show is great for everyone. It is safe and suitable for children from 6 years old, families, romantic couples, and seniors. There is no violence or inappropriate content.
When do we play and how to get tickets?

Days: Every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday (until the end of the year).

Time: The show starts at 20:30 (doors open at 20:00).

Tickets: Because we only have 50 seats, we highly recommend buying tickets online. Just go to our website and click the pink "Book now" button at the top.

Booking System: Our website uses the international booking system BOKUN. It belongs to the Viator group, so it is very safe, simple, and available in many languages.
Important: No late arrivals Please arrive on time. Late arrivals after the start of the show are not allowed because of the special black light effects. The theatre closes its doors exactly on time, and there are no refunds for late arrivals.
Group Bookings and Private Shows Are you traveling in a group of 20 to 50 people (maximum 50)? You can get a discounted price! Please contact our director, Theodor, directly at hoidekr@gmail.com. Let us know what type of group you are (children, schools, seniors, or adults). With enough time in advance, we can arrange a show even outside our regular playing days. We only accept evening times, and the ideal start is 20:30. We are also happy to help you with recommendations for good restaurants in the neighborhood. For larger groups, we can split the group into two shows in a row. We need at least a 45-minute break between the shows to prepare the stage. We prefer a maximum of 43 people per show for the best experience.
Our Story and International Success HILT was founded in 2007 by Theodor Hoidekr and Štěpánka Pencová. We perform regularly in Prague, but we also travel the world. We have won two World Theatre Olympics awards in India and recently played in the National Theatre in Guatemala for 2,000 people. Despite our big international tours, we always love performing on our small, magical home stage in Prague.
