Prague/Guatemala City, April 1, 2023 – České divadlo HILT, a renowned black light theatre troupe from Prague, has captivated audiences in Central America with a sold-out performance at the Teatro Nacional in Guatemala City on March 28, 2023. The theatre, an iconic venue capable of seating 2,000 patrons, was packed as the Czech company presented its signature brand of visual storytelling.

HILT black light theatre, originally conceived as a touring company, has carved a unique niche for itself. While their mesmerizing performances have captivated audiences in large venues around the world, their heart lies in a more intimate setting: an exclusive, 50-seat theatre nestled in the heart of Old Prague.

The success of HILT’s performance at Bharat Rang Mahotsav hinged on the profound cooperation with Indian directors Swati Sharma Vyas and Sajal Mondal. Their expertise and understanding of the Indian theatrical scene were instrumental in ensuring a seamless integration of the HILT's vision into the festival's venues in Jaipur and New Delhi. These individuals acted as key stage managers, orchestrating the intricate set-up of stages, lighting, and projections for HILT’s performance.

As a child, Hoidekr dreamed of one day having his own theatre where he could bring his creative ideas to life. This dream became a reality when he opened his own theatre, showcasing his unique and innovative productions to audiences around the world.
