HILT Black Light Theatre — New Video: “Entra a la Oscuridad” (Summer Dance Mix)
HILT Black Light Theatre presents a dance-driven, colour-soaked clip to “Entra a la Oscuridad (summer dance mix)”. The video speaks our black light theatre language: UV-glow costumes, floating masks and visual illusions — the poetry of light born from darkness.
From Theodor Hoidekr (author & director): I wrote this song on our motto “You have to enter the darkness to see the light.” It’s true on stage and in life. The clip alternates black-and-white moments of me at the microphone and in the edit (the everyday making-of) with its heart: colourful dance sequences by the HILT ensemble in full black light theatre mode. The groove stays simple and melodic — music to dance to for every generation.
Why Spanish? Because sung Spanish feels to me elegant and respectful in tone, romantic — and yes, a little sexy. The spark hit me in 2001, when Madonna performed a Spanish dance version of “What It Feels Like for a Girl” on tour — that sound never left me. Over the years, travelling and meeting Spanish-speaking audiences, we’ve felt a natural kinship on both sides. This track carries that warmth while staying rooted in what we are: a black light theatre company. It’s my personal voice crossing a bridge into our non-verbal stage world — where darkness lets the light speak.
